🃏 The Deck — 78 cards + 1 bonus second edition card, printed on gorgeous 310GSM European black core paper with a linen finish and water-based coating. Cards measure 5.21" × 2.95" and shuffle like an absolute dream. Every Major and Minor card is fully illustrated and faithfully reproduced from the original hand-painted artwork.
📖 The Guidebook — A full-color, 117-page companion written by Madame Pamita with a foreword by Judika Illes. Book design and layout by Rob Harrigan, edited by Micol Hiatt, with illustrations by Stephanie Buscema.
📦 The Box — A durable keepsake box with a folding magnetic closure, matte coated with silver foil and spot gloss UV varnish. It's a beauty.
A little about the deck…
My vision and end goal for the Silver Acorn was to create a curious and nostalgic little world where I could transport Tarot readers. A dreamlike place that seemed strangely familiar, full of magic and whimsy with an old storybook-like quality…and a bit of mystery if you looked a little deeper.
Heavily inspired by nature, flora/fauna and the changing seasons, I relied on my intuition to guide me through painting the 78 cards and the color palettes chosen for each. Landscapes and backgrounds featured on the cards shift from sky-high treetops, back down to earth, far out to sea…and somewhere in-between worlds. Throughout the deck, you'll meet an odd cast of characters, all anthropomorphic in nature, animals of all kinds, peculiar pumpkins and vegetable folks and of course, skeletons!
Each card has been hand drawn and painted using gouache paints on watercolor paper. Many days were spent color proofing after the paintings were completed to ensure the reproduction quality of the images were seamlessly reproduced and stayed spot on the the original color and artwork. While painting the cards, it was of great importance to create a deck for everyone, to welcome in all and inspire readers of levels and ages, from seasoned readers with years of experience to folks just starting out.

A quick note on shipping deck sets + art prints: Due to the way our giclée prints are carefully flat-packaged for protection, deck sets and art prints unfortunately can't ship together. Print orders need to be placed separately—thank you for understanding!
